The Service

Memethropic provides an API for generating memes via large language models and image rendering pipelines. You send a topic. We return a meme. That is the service. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for what you do with the memes you generate. If you use this service to produce content that is harmful, illegal, or embarrassing to a reasonable person, that is on you. We provide the infrastructure. You provide the judgment.

Do not use Memethropic to generate content that harasses individuals, promotes violence, or violates applicable law. We take this seriously, even if the subject matter is inherently funny.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or otherwise make the platform worse for everyone else. We will not do this capriciously. We will do it when warranted.

Meme Quality

We make no warranty — express, implied, or satirical — regarding the quality, humor level, or virality of generated memes. The model does its best. Sometimes its best is not very funny. This is not grounds for a refund.

Credits and Billing

Credits purchased are non-refundable. If you buy 1,000 API credits and generate 1,000 memes you don't like, we empathize, but we cannot refund you. Plan your meme strategy accordingly.

Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the creative direction you provide (your prompts and configurations). The rendered meme output belongs to you, subject to the content rights of any underlying template images. We retain ownership of the platform, the API, and all infrastructure that makes this possible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify users via email for material changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
